We are now into the second week of Advent and watching the two purple candles burning. We are further reminded to be patient, to be generous and to open our hearts to the Lord. Advent is an ideal time to reflect on those less fortunate and to take ‘action’ by finding ways to support and assist others.

“The Lord has done great things for us: we are filled with joy.”

(Responsorial Psalm125)

I take this opportunity to thank you all for your generosity in supporting our St Vincent De Paul Hampers and Gift appeal. As in the past, our children have been so enthusiastic about it and there has been a wonderful sense of “goodwill” as the gifts have been placed around our Christmas tree and the food placed into the boxes in the classroom.
